베니스 대학교(IUAV) 국제교류처 방문 및 설명회

명지대학교 건축대학과 국제교류협력을 하고 있는 이탈리아 베니스 대학교(IUAV)의 국제교류처에서
마리아 가토(Maria Gatto), 파올라 데 로시(Paola De Rossi), 파비오 모레티(Pabio Moretti) 세 분의 선생님께서
2025년 10월 24일 명지대학교 건축대학에 방문하여 베니스 대학교의 국제교류협력에 대한 설명회를 가졌습니다.
명지대학교 건축대학은 매년 여름 방학에 베니스 대학교 건축대학에서 개최되는 세계 각국의 학생들이 참여하는 국제교류협력 교육에 하나의 설계 스튜디오를 개설하여 참여하고 있습니다. 이는 베니스국제워크샵이라는 이름으로 불립니다.
이와 더불어 명지대학교 건축대학은 베니스 대학교 건축대학이 EU의 지원을 받아 수행하고 있는 IUAV 프로젝트인 "이탈리아-동아시아 협력: 현지 전문성에서 글로벌 전망까지(LEGO)” 에 2025년부터 참여하고 있습니다. 명지대학교 건축대학에서는 김홍빈 학생이 LEGO 장학생으로 선정되어 2025년 2학기 현재 한 학기 동안 교환학생으로 베니스 건축대학에서 공부하고 있습니다.
2026년 1월에는 명지대학교 건축대학의 교수님 한 분이 LEGO 프로젝트의 초청을 받아 방문교수로 베니스 건축대학을 방문하여 특강 및 수업 참여 등으로 국제교류협력 활동을 할 예정입니다.
명지대학교 건축대학은 베니스 대학교를 비롯하여 세계 각국의 많은 대학교 및 기관과 국제교류협력 활동을 하고 있으며, 이러한 활동을 지속적으로 유지 확대하여 국제적 감각을 갖춘 설계전문인력 양성에 계속 앞장서 나갈 것입니다.

Visit and Presentation by the IUAV University of Venice International Relations Office
On October 24, 2025, three representatives from the International Relations Office of the IUAV University of Venice — Dr. Maria Gatto, Dr. Paola De Rossi, and Dr. Fabio Moretti — visited the College of Architecture at Myongji University and held a presentation session on IUAV’s international exchange and cooperation programs.
The College of Architecture at Myongji University has been actively participating in IUAV’s global academic exchange through the Venice International Workshop, a summer design studio hosted annually by the IUAV University of Venice, which brings together architecture students from around the world.
In addition, the College of Architecture at Myongji University has joined IUAV’s EU-funded project “Italy–East Asia Cooperation — From Local Expertise to a Global Outlook : LEGO” starting in 2025. Under this program, Myongji University student Hongbin Kim has been selected as a LEGO Scholarship recipient and is currently studying at IUAV as an exchange student during the 2025 Fall semester. In January 2026, one of Myongji’s professors will visit IUAV as a guest professor under the LEGO project to deliver special lectures and participate in joint academic activities.
The College of Architecture at Myongji University continues to strengthen its global partnerships with IUAV and many other universities and institutions worldwide. Through these ongoing collaborations, the College remains committed to fostering architects and designers with an international perspective and creative expertise.
